Drywall Mania

The basement is starting to take on a finished look as the stud walls are getting covered up with drywall sheets.

New table

We actually bought a piece of furniture that Brig isn't going to refinish (he says "yet", I say "never"). I think it looks good as is. There are 2 more chairs that now hang out in the dining room with the old table.
Brig goes to the Zoo

Brig finally broke free from work after weeks of working on the weekends. He and Mason bonded in the aviary (that's a big word for where all the birds are).

Moving Along

I've got the main room walls done and the sides of the drop down ceiling.

Drywall at Last...

These are the first 2 sheets of drywall to go up. The guy in the pic is Michael... He is a work-horse.

Drop Down

This is my work-around for all of the duct work that is hanging below the ceiling line.

Mason smiles for the camera!

It's practically impossible to capture his smile as he doesn't know that he is supposed to hold it until after the flash. Although I still think this is a cute picture.

My first Easter

The Easter Bunny didn't hide any eggs for Mason to find, but he did bring plastic eggs for him to play with and a basket of fun things.

I can hold my head up!!

Mason has been practicing this for a few weeks. He only enjoys doing it a few times though...then he decides that it is too rough and lets us know that he is done.

Too Much Sun

Mason went next door to visit with the neighbors and got a little sun on his nose and under his eyes. This is his new hat that should hopefully stop any more sun exposure. It has gotten very hot here this week...it's been in the high 80s and low 90s. (Not that I'm complaining...I'd take sun over snow anyday)

Waaa...I'm one month old

Mason's First Trip to the Zoo

He was asleep for all the sights...I even had to wake him up for this picture. Maybe on his next trip he'll see the hippos that are right beneath us.

Mason hangs out with his Mom

Ok, so he's really sleeping...but what else can you expect from someone so young.
