New harness...
Mason is the proud new owner of a rock climbing harness. Brig stands close behind him and I actually don't think that Mason is doing any climbing. Brig made this harness for Mason. I don't think that his size is carried in stores.

Mason also does lots of climbing when he's not wearing the harness. His new favorite destination is the top of the kitchen table.

Canoli Boy.

Mason was chomping down on a desert crepe, and loving it.

Hijacking the Cruiser

I was trying to get the dogs ready to go and Mason was going nuts, so against my better judgement I let him sit in the drivers seat. Once he goes in, it is impossible to get him out. He also pushes all of the buttons, so I have to completely reset everything when I get in.

A day in the life...

Here is a glimpse into Mason's world. He is so active and so cute; and we have lots of fun together. I followed him with a camera today so you could see all the fun times he has.

Did you notice Mason's new hair cut? Brig gave him his first real haircut (on Saturday). Not just a trim job like before, but with the clippers.

The afternoon and evening got skipped from being photographed (there were way too many pictures on this post as it is)...but don't worry it was more of the same (except he played golf in the backyard with his dad). We had friends come over and he played with his toys, puppies and friends. But check him out getting a bedtime story from dad.

Our Fun on the 4th...
We had a great time on the fourth of july. Mason became the proud owner of his very own car. However, there seems to be something wrong with the transmission or motor, because it appears that the car only works in reverse.

Lately, Mason has taken to pushing the car to make it go forward. We hope soon that the fred flintstone type engine will soon be engaged in moving forward.

We also took Mason to a fireworks show, but I have to say that it really wasn't that good. Normally you know when the show is over because the finale is crazy with lots of fireworks going off on top of each other. Not so at our show. It was full of lots of breaks with a lame ending.

It was close, so it was easy to get home, and when we got home we saw that the fireworks were going crazy outside our house. So we put Mason to bed and climbed out a window to our roof. We had a great show with a 180 degree view of fireworks. I don't think that there are any illegal fireworks in our part of town (we live outside of the actual city limits) and it shows. There were fireworks still going at 11:30 pm when we were headed to bed.
