The 2 year old photographer....

If you've ever wondered what the world looks like to a 2 year old you should give them a camera.

Mason walked around with my camera for about 20 minutes and took over 150 pictures. It's interesting to see things from his vantage point.

This is our dishwasher.

Koa peeking around a corner.
The basket of his tricycle.
A self portrait (too bad the flash erased his head)
He was standing on the toilet here.

Back to school shopping...

Today we did some back to school shopping for supplies. But since I didn't think that Brig should be the only one to get some new supplies I got some for Mason too.

He picked these scissors out himself (it's supposed to be a giraffe). And couldn't wait until we got home to use them.

He was so excited to work on a new art project. But had a tough time trying to figure out how to cut with scissors. Every time we told him to open the scissors he'd open his mouth too.

I guess it's kind of like how I open my mouth when I am applying make-up or putting in my contacts. It was too cute to not share.

Looking Good, but feeling cranky...

Brady (l) and Alex (r) pose with their dad. I tried and tried to get one without any pacifiers (or bebes as Mason calls them). But no luck. Brady was feeling really cranky. I guess that's what I get for trying to get a picture when it's really nap time.

Brig suggested having the boys Indian Leg Wrestle...but even that didn't put them in a better mood.

So in the end, I just gave up and took one where they are cute and pacified.

They're giving out some really good / cute smiles, but they never want to do it for the camera. But I'll get one soon enough.

Identity Crisis?

I've heard that toddlers can regress when they have a new arrival, but I haven't heard anything about them having an identity crisis.

Here he's working my favorite heels. I think he looks pretty good in them, especially with that cute smile. He was clopping around the house today after church. I didn't think I'd have competition for my shoes, but I guess they are pretty cool, so I get it.

And earlier, Mason wanted to see if he still fit in his old car seat. I'm thinking that he should leave this seat to Alex.

Although he did look pretty cute in it when he fit. This picture is from April 2006.

Happy 4th....

We made it out to watch fireworks tonight. It's a good thing too, because I love a good firework show.

We had a great time, but Mason was unsure about all the noise.
To help out, he wore some noise canceling headphones for some of the show.

I do have a cute picture of the babies in their Independence Day wear (thanks Grammie Sue). I don't think that Brady is too excited about the shirt, but Alex seems to have accepted his fate.
